Motive’s newsletter The Buzz is going through some exciting changes and we want YOU to get involved.
The newsletter will be going from a short weekly edition to a more in-depth monthly delve into everything Digital PR related.
The new format will be a celebration of the UK Digital PR scene and we are calling for others in the industry to step forward and suggest content.
Here we speak to our new editor about their exciting plans for The Buzz….
How are you feeling about taking on The Buzz?
I’m so excited to be taking over the newsletter. It will be a great opportunity to engage with the wider PR community and build relationships with prospective clients looking to establish their brand further. The newsletter will be a great source of information for others in the PR industry, and will give people an insight into our favourite campaigns and the fabulous work we get up to at Motive. Make sure to give it a subscribe for valuable content, tips and insights into all things PR.
How has the newsletter been doing?
It’s had a lot of engagement with more than a thousand people signing up to subscribe since we launched it last year. The open rates are always very high and we get quite a lot of messages about it too. But I think there is a lot more we can do with it. I'm excited to have the creative freedom to build a valuable monthly resource.
What are your plans for The Buzz?
Well, first off it is going monthly instead of weekly. By moving to a monthly format it means we have a lot more time to prepare each issue and each one can have a load more content that the weekly version we have been doing up to now. I am really looking forward to taking a deeper look at the Digital PR scene and to be able to really get under the skin of campaigns and what’s happening out there. Make sure to keep an eye on our socials and webite for some sneak peaks.
Are other agencies able to submit their own news items for inclusion in The Buzz?
Yes absolutely, I want it to be a celebration of all the great work that’s being done out there. Not just by agencies - in-house PRs are welcome to get in touch too.
We will be publishing news items and features about what’s happening in the Digital PR scene.
How can people get in touch?
The best way to reach us is by email. Send your news items to buzz@motivepr.co.uk
We can’t reply to every email so just make sure you’re subscribed to see if your item has been published.
When will the first monthly issue be sent to subscribers?
The first issue will be out in June so there’s plenty of time to get in touch with submissions.
Finally if you could only watch one movie forever more what would it be?
Oh, that’s too difficult, I love Titanic, 10 Things I Hate About You, Twilight and The Notebook. It’s too hard to pick just one. I like The Hunger Games too.
