When e-commerce site Online-Bedrooms.co.uk approached us for support with Digital PR and tasked us with winning them links to support their SEO strategy, we pulled out all the stops and worked with them to reach their goals.
Online-Bedrooms was set up during lockdown in 2020 and as a fledgling company has big ambitions to compete with the major players in the fitted bedroom furniture market.
Tactics
The client brief was clear - to win links and increase the domain rating of the site and at the same time, reach potential customers in the market for fitted bedroom furniture by boosting organic search rankings.
We created a targeted campaign positioning Online-Bedrooms as experts in bedroom furniture and furnishing, interiors and home.
Results
Over three years we achieved 1,833 items of media coverage along with a whopping 2,062 links - an average of more than 57 high quality links every month! (we don't count any from sites with DR below 30).
The links came from national sites including The Daily Express, The Sun, The Mirror, Indy 100, MSN and regional websites including Manchester Evening News, Verge Magazine, Daily Record, Essex Live and H&N Magazine. Targeted coverage in interiors titles and homes sites included Woman & Home, House Beautiful, Love Property, Ideal Home, Living Etc and Real Homes.
The online coverage and links helped the Online-Bedrooms.co.uk domain rating grow from 10 to 32 with referring domains jumping from 303 to 966.
With the metrics all considerably improved the site has been boosted in organic search leading to continued growth in orders.
