Summary
Since 2019 we’ve been working with the team at online garden centre GardeningExpress.co.uk to build links with Digital PR and raise brand awareness through both digital and traditional PR strategies.
We supported them throughout the Covid pandemic and lockdowns when the gardening sector boomed as Britons spent more time at home and in the garden.
Since then we’ve been building the personal brand of founder and horticulturist Chris Bonnett, sharing his gardening expertise.
Results
Since working with Chris and his team we’ve delivered consistently high quality coverage and links with stories on gardening advice and trends among the content generated.
In four years from the start of 2019 to the end of 2022, we delivered 4,014 coverage of items - more than 1,000 items per year.
During the same period our content earned 3,830 backlinks from high authority domains. We took the DR of the site from 35 to 52 during these four years.
More recently we’ve focussed time on founder Chris Bonnett and his expert gardening knowledge.
Chris is a trained horticulturist and knows everything there is to know about plants. Using our media relations skills we secured Chris a weekly column in the Daily Express and he is also regularly featured as a gardening expert in The Sun.
He can also be found offering advice and comment on Gardening Etc, Real Homes, Homes & Gardens, Hello, Huffington Post, Ideal Home, Love Property, Financial Times, Sunday Times, Woman & Home, Metro, Mirror Online and Tom’s Guide.
